Please welcome Jill Combs our newest Board Member!

End of the year celebration

Hello Homebuilders, Once again it's time to prepare for our end-of-the-year celebration!

While an RSVP is NOT required to attend, we ask that you do us the courtesy of responding to the email that was sent out, if you DO plan to attend and how many are in your party so that we have a general idea of how many people we need to provide pizza for. There are some changes this year so be sure to get all the important details!

Location: Harbour Park- 3101 Ashburton Drive, Antioch

Date: Thursday, June 23rd

Time: 4pm-7pm

Yes, ice block sledd! ing will occur. We are hoping to get between 20-30 blocks of ice for the kids (and the brave adults).

Pizza will be provided by Homebuilders. If anyone needs gluten free pizza, please notify us ASAP so that we can place an order for it (usually we get it at Mountain Mike's Pizza).

This is a potluck event. Please bring a dish to share with everyone. PLEASE LABEL YOUR DISHES & SERVINGWARE (last name please).

If your last name begins with A-K please bring a salad or side dish.

If your last name begins with L-Z please bring a dessert.

If you are gluten free, please bring a gluten free dish to share. (We will have a separate table for all the GF dishes & pizza)

Water & homemade lemonade will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: We are doing something new this year. In an effort to be more responsible stewards of God's creation, we are asking everyone to bring their own reusable cups. We usually go through several hundred plastic cups at this event so we are asking everyone to do their part in decreasing our plastic waste. SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN CUPS FOR YOUR FAMILY!!! (Thank you in advance for this!)

Other important details:

* Bring towels for the ice block sledding!

*Bring sunscreen! It is usually quite hot and sunny at this event!

*There is a playground for the younger children that has sand in it. Bring sand toys for them if you like.

* Don't forget to bring chairs, picnic blankets, and/or canopies to help keep you comfy & cool as there is minimal shade at this park.

*Don't forget to bring cash or your checkbook to register for the 2016-17 Homebuilders year. Cost ! is $10 at this event. There will be a registration table there with the forms you need or you can go to http://homebuildershomeschool.com/membership/membership-application/ and download yours at home and have it filled out when you get there. PLEASE NOTE: This form requires signatures from both parents. Also, please be sure to read our bylaws & policies which can also be accessed from the above link.

*Bathrooms are available at this location (in case you were wondering)

Again, please RSVP (even if things change later) and let us know if you are planning to attend AND how many are in your party!
